Maigo in Hyogo: November ’11

Okay…where to begin. Hmmm. Okay. Hang on a sec here.

How to do this…?

All righty. Can you guess where this…particular statue…can be found? Can you also guess what this…guy…is trying to sell you? No wait, that looked weird as soon as I typed it. Okay. Never mind that part! This guy is actually the mascot of a very tasty and popular item. Oh gosh that sounds worse…you know what, never mind. Just start guessing.

Know where this photo was taken? Maigo in Hyogo challenges you to recognize more of our fabulous prefecture!

Answer: This is a replica of the famous Manneken-Pis statue in Brussels. He is the striking mascot for Manneken Belgian Waffles sold all over Japan.
He can be found in Kobe, gracing the outside of a building between Sannomiya and Motomachi stations.
