The story behind this partially completed roofless architecture is actually it used to be like classical Tokyo Central railway station and used to be the first and foremost bank. After that, this bank is run by OBAYASHI Public corporation from 1966.After the dreadful Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995, the building was also destroyed. so as to transform into a monument, it was renovated with reinforced concrete , steel and roof tiles on its west and south brick wall.
