Your friendly AJET representative: November 2013
Hi everyone!
I hope you all enjoyed your Halloween and are looking forward to Thanksgiving. After a surprisingly long summer, the temperature has rapidly dropped which means the start of my favourite season! To me, autumn is on a par with spring. People seem to migrate to famous places like Kyoto and Nara just to see ‘momiji’, or the beautiful red leaves. Also, just when you thought those festivals that you had so much fun at were over, a whole new bunch of matsuri appears! I would highly recommend that you go exploring during autumn because it will go in a flash.
So an important event happens every year in November. That’s right, the fun-tastic Skills Development Conference. There should have been official documents sent to your schools about it. After two days of honing our skills, we will have a little SDC enkai. This will be held on the 22nd of November, most likely at the Sky Buffet in Kobe. This restaurant is all you can eat and all you can drink, so it’s a good place to wind down and catch up with some old friends. If you would like more details, please keep an eye out on the Hyogo AJET Facebook group!
